Canada Start-up Visa
Canada’s Start-up Visa Program is designed for immigrant entrepreneurs demonstrating the skills and potential to establish innovative businesses in Canada (excluding Quebec).
These businesses should have the capacity to generate jobs for Canadians or compete globally.
This program represents one of the quickest routes to obtaining Canadian permanent residency status.
HOW WE COME IN
By collaborating with our business startup consulting team, we offer a comprehensive startup co-creation program.
This 21-week journey is your path to securing a Letter of Support if you meet the requirements.
The program breaks down into stages, offering a mix of technology frameworks, tools connections, and practical insights to empower entrepreneurs in building and growing their startups in Canada.
This program allows you to establish a new startup in Canada or extend your existing one into the Canadian market.
Recognizing the financial challenges involved, we not only offer but also promote entrepreneurial partnerships of up to four (4) startup partners.
It’s important to highlight that every entrepreneur in the venture studio gets access to advisors and resources. This includes entry to the team’s online learning management system, which consists of four stages designed to support the growth of the companies.
The Canada start-up visa program is renowned as one of the most extensive startup education initiatives globally. We extend flexible working options and virtual programs to cater to the diverse needs of all our clients.
Please Note: The Canada Startup Visa program allows you the flexibility to commence the application either as an individual business entity or in partnership with up to four startup partners.
HOW CAN YOU INVEST AND BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM?
You Have A Business Idea
- Pitch your qualifying start-up to a designated organization and secure their support
- Meet the language requirements.
- Ensure you have enough funds to settle.
Additionally, if you’ve already applied for permanent residence through the Start-Up Visa Program, you might be eligible to work in Canada while you wait if you can demonstrate that your business will provide a significant economic benefit to Canada and if you bring sufficient funds to settle.
You Want To Support A Business
If you want to support a business, becoming a designated organization is the key. To achieve this, you must be a recommended member of either;
- The Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, or
- The National Angel Capital Organization.
As a designated organization, you have the flexibility to create your own process for receiving proposals from immigrant entrepreneurs and develop your own criteria to assess them.
The responsibility lies with you to identify potential immigrant entrepreneurs you would like to support.
